Who Has Read The Book “keeping Faith” By Jodi Picoult?

So for my English class we have to read two books throughout the semester independently, and at the end of the course we have to compare the two novels in an essay. My first book is “Keeping Faith” by Jodi Picoult. Has anyone read this book who also knows a book similar to this one? At least a novel with family problems, divorce or something religious.

  1. You could probably link most of her other books to keeping faith. The closest to it are probably the tenth circle and vanishing acts.
If you need a different author ‘the memory keepers daughter’ by King Edwards is about the closest to it that i’ve read. Also although i haven’t read ‘love in the present tense’ it sounds like you maybe be able to link it to keeping faith:http://www.lovereading.co.uk/book/1704/L…
it seems to involve a disrupted family life and the troubles of a young child.
Hope i helped, good luck with your essay!

  2. I really enjoyed this book– I love Jodi Picoult’s novels. One you could compare it to might be My Sister’s Keeper– also by Picoult; it’s one of her most loved novels and it has the issue of family problems.

  3. Another book by Jodi Picoult comes to mind:
    Vanishing Acts…
Can’t think of anything else. Jodi Picoult is addictive!
