Is There Any Way To Quicken Your Metabolism?
Id like to loose some weight by the summer, ive tried eating healthy and exercising numerous times and each time i get no results whatsoever. Im beggining to think that maybe my metabolism has somthing to do with this? I would be most gracious if someone can give me some metabolism tips and maybe even a diet idea? Thanks in advance, happy holidays!

Eating breakfast is a great way to speed up your metabolism. As for diet tips….I do something where I don’t eat sweets or junk food on the weekdays…..then come weekends I can have whatever. That way you appreciate it more, etc. (though right now with the holidays I have been bad =) As for working out…..pick a goal to reach. I did a few 1/2 marathons. I was never a big runner…but I did a 14 week training program….that got me in great shape (non-intimdating) and ran a 1/2. my body was in great shape. I am going to do another one in May…so I will start training prob in February….I will feel great about my body just in time for summer!! If you are interested in the 1/2 marathon training….you can google…etc…and find whatever plan works best for you!!

There are lots of ways. Anything where you’re exercising or moving will speed it up a lot. Getting enough sleep. Keeping hydrated (ice water for best results). Spicy foods, grapefruit, mixing 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water once a day. Staying cold, because it takes your body more energy to warm itself up. Try to space your meals out evenly throughout the day, that really helps for me. Also lifting weights. Muscles = faster metabolism, and plus you’re exercising while you get them. Win – win situation there. Happy holidays, loads of good luck <3

Exercise will give you a higher set point, exercise of 30 minutes (cardio) will keep your metabolism up for several hours after the exercise, even fast walking 2x a day will work. Watch your calories and carbs, increase your intake of protein and you will get results.
