How Long Did You Record Memories In The Baby Book?

just a fun question…..
I am ttc#1, and yesterday I was at walmart browsing through the baby books. I noticed that some books went as long as 5 years. I was just wondering if people actually kept up with those books. I was thinking that I want to record my pregnancy and first few weeks of life. I just don’t see myself recording until first day of school.

  1. my mother in law hated the fact that I never kept my child’s books up to date. She kept telling me, I would regret it later that I could not recall when the kids reach their mile stones.
    My response to this was I was too busy raising and enjoying them,than to treat them like a experiment and record their every event.
    So, to my shame, my 1st child’s book, is missing chunks of info, I never attempted one with my 2nd child.

  2. I have a couple of them- and for me I dont ever fill anything in… I guess I just dont see my baby doing something amazing and then saying OH LETS PUT THIS IN THE BOOK!
    lol- I may regret this later in life- but I guess I’ll find that out then

  3. My mom kept books on us until we were in the frist grade, i LOVE going back through them and reading about things that everyone had forgotten.
