I tried Homestead.com and they are okay but I want something that works better with Quickbooks 06 too….(a lot easier to track all my sales).

I need a program that will simply track book sales for 2 of my books. I basically just have to track sales and state sales tax. I’m guessing that Quickbooks would help me track all this better than my massive spreadsheet will, but the reviews say it has so many problems…
I should note that I am NOT going to be hooking it up to a bank account or anything fancy; I am basically using it as a tracker and as a utility that can create reports and track sales for me (and who has paid!!!)
Please I really need some advice in this arena!!
PS. I have a new PC with Vista on it.

I am preparing to purchase software to manage my household expenses, and deductions, expenses, etc for a small business. Quicken has a product for this, but is there a better one out there??

Really like Quicken 98 for the investment tools (not so much the budget aids). This is no longer available in the UK any suggestions on an alternative.
Would like an asset allocator tool, a track investments performance tool etc. Multi portfolio if possible. Any ideas?

Does anyone know of a good bookkeeping & receipt printing software comparable to QuickBooks but not as pricey? To manage profit/loss and keep numbers to report for taxes for a small business. Our QuickBooks has expired now so we were looking for an alternative. Thanks for your help/information!

I currently use Quicken to enter in checks and checking account spending, but I’m not always at my home computer and would like to do these things at another computer so I’m looking for an online alternative to Quicken. I know that there’s Quicken Online, but I don’t think that allows you to enter checks and do reconciliations (unless someone has figured it out, I’m interested in knowing how to do those things).

I currenty use Quickbooks and up to version 2007 Quickbooks does not allow any numbers larger then 99,999,999.99 to be input into the general journal which is really sad…. it forces me to input several lines of ledger in order to get to the desired amount.

I’m wondering if their is a better alternative to Quickbooks. I would like a program that allows you to process credit cards from within the program and has invoicing and customer tracking features. Quickbooks forces you to switch to their merchant account to process credit cards inside their program which I don’t want to do.
