Could I Get A Decent Entry Level Accounting Job With Only Certificate, But Bs In Another Major?

With the current job market, Im considering pursuing a certificate in Accounting to get a decent entry level Accounting job (maybe bookkeeping?) I received a BS in Business Admin w/ emphasis in M.I.S.
I know usually a certificate wont do, but would my BS make it more desirable or increases my chances? Or decent acct. jobs are only for people w/ Associates degree and above in accounting?

Can You Take A Previously Register Copy Of Quickbooks And Install It Onto Another Computer?

and not register it? At work we are using Premier 2006 and are upgrading to Premier 2009 so that will leave 2 copies of 2006 to just sit around and collect dust. I was wondering if I could install it on another computer without registering it as I don’t need to have any sort of customer support, etc. just need it to do simple invoices as a contractor?

Quickbooks Help! How Do I Move Multiple Entries From One Account Ledger To Another At Once?

On quickbooks I have a Business Checking account ledger and a Personal Checking account ledger. I accidently inputed about 20 entries (mostly checks and a few deposits) into the Personal Checking account ledger that were actually charged to my Business account…. I need to move them over to the Business side now but copying/pasting them one by one takes SO LONG and I can’t figure out how to select more than one at a time and move them?

I Need Quickbooks On Another Computer But Only Have 1 Cd And I Get Errors When I Try. What Do I Do?

I just got a new computer and I’m trying to move all my Quickbooks files and program onto it from my old one. I tried installing Quickbooks from the CD onto the new computer but it gives me an error and i think it may have to do with the license number being in use but I could be wrong. I tried sharing the folder and i can access it but it won’t open either. I would just backup my files then delete it from the old one and install onto the new one but it has problems verifying data integrity and i don’t want to take the chance that it’s another problem instead and lose all my information.

How Would You Feel About Training Another Employee?

I work at a CPA firm and I paid to become a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, out of my pocket, and completed the course on my own time to become certified.
Things have been slow at work and my boss asked me to load the company QuickBooks onto another employees computer and to give her some pointers on how to use QuickBooks.
Am I wrong to not want to show her how to use QuickBooks? Am I being selfish?
I became certified hoping to get more work – which I have – and hopefully to get a raise – which I haven’t. I wanted to find a “nitch” were I could excel in something that would be beneficial to the office and our clients.
