Additional . Create . Directory . Drive' . Hard
I want to test a new version of Quickbooks to see if it suits my company’s needs. If I install it in the same drive the current version is in, it might create a conflict. That’s why I want to install it in another directory. Does it make sense? How do I accomplish this?
I’m running QB 2007 Pro. In the past opening my licensee’s QB file for review was a simple matter of restoring his file from backup. We upgraded to 2007 last year and QB wants to put his file information over my company’s when doing it with the restore feature. (The method that worked for me in the past.)
Is there a way to see his information without going through the steps of making a separate company to import his backup into?
I’d like to write a will and develop an estate plan for my wife and daughter. Are the CDROM/online services (eg Quicken Willmaker) good enough, or should I see a lawyer?

Account . Create . Nonposting . Quickbooks
I am currently using Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions v7.0 and I just have, what I believe, to be a simple question.
I thought there was a way to create a non-posting account but when I go to make an acct, non-posting is not an option.
Can anyone help me please?!
I tried using a Quickbooks Pro-advisor in the past, and it was a very bad experience! He didn’t know anything and every question I had, he called up QB and was on the phone with them for hours at a time!!
The program must be able to exchange data with quickbooks easy.

I had a project done by a company in India and they send me an invoice with their tax id number.
I paid them but then I realized that their TaxID number was in the form of xxxxxx/c/xxxx where c is a character.
I tried to input that in quickbooks and i got the error message “invalid format”.
Do you think that this will be a problem when reporting 1099s to the IRS?
How will manage to enter the tax id into the 1099 for them?
Is 1099 what I need to fill out for this or is there another form?
Will I be able to declare the amount as an expense?
The amount is over $5000.

Allocation . Assets . Create . Financial Questions . Model
I am trying to make financial assets allocation model. in other words , I want to construct a financial model , for allocating of financial assets. how can I do that? what is its process ?
Ive heard quickbooks will work but im very limited in the amount I can spend. Quickbooks, I am told, is expensive. Im looking for something cheap, free if possible.
Like I said, I have to create 250 billing invoices for the citizens at the city where I work. The secretary, who took care of all this, deciced she didn’t want to come back to work….ever. So now I’ve got create all the bills for Saniation and I have no experience with QuickBooks.
I quite literaly need to send them out yesterday.

Accounting . Adjusting . Create . Entry . Problem
At the end of its first year, the trial balance of Easton Compan shows Equipment $30,000 and zero balances in Accumulated Depreciation – Equipment and Depreciation Expense. Depreciation for the year is estimated to be $6,000. Prepared the adjusting entry for depreciation at december 31, post the adjustments to T accounts, and indicate the balance sheet presentation of the equipment at December 31.
