How Do I Quickly Delete All Transactions At Once In An Investment Account In Quicken Or Any Acct In Ms Money?

Don’t want to delete the account information, just want to start over with all transactions I have entered previously removed.
In quicken, investment accounts looks like you have to do 1 at a time – takes forever. Bank accounts you can highlight all at once and delete but not investment accounts?
In Money, I dont see any way to do all at once on any type of account.
I have Money 2008 and Quicken 2006

If it has any transactions, you cannot delete the account, only make in “inactive”. Once done, it doesnt “appear” any more…

If I Delete This What Will Happen?

I have quickbooks simple start special edition already installed on my computer. Im a home user and i dont plan on using it for anything for any finacial reasons and the program takes up a load of memory 595 mb but my computer says i occasionally use it (i dont recall using it) but if i delete it what will happen? Will it cause any programs to not work?

How To Delete A Category From Microsoft Money 2005?

Hi, I’m used to working with Intuit’s Quickbooks Pro so Microsoft Money is taking me a bit to get used to for my personal accounting (researched the two between Quicken and Money and Money seemed to be the lesser of two evils, so that’s why I went with it). One thing I cannot figure out is how to delete a category once it’s created? And Money’s “Help” isn’t helping much – all it comes up with is how to ADD one, not delete. I’m trying to delete a category I created for spending. Any Money gurus out there know the answer to that?

~~To my knowledge there is absolutely no way. Only thing you can do is make up a back up copy of your company, print out what you want to keep, then reset up your books, and only input the information you want.~~

Quickbooks: If I Delete An Item On The Items List, Will It Affect Invoices That Used It Before?

Or will it leave those alone and simply not use it in the future? I ask because I use a 3rd party software to create invoices in (to keep some people out of the books!) and then it sends it to quickbooks. I just upgraded to QB pro, 2008, and they changed the way sales tax is figured in it to where it defaults to the state tax item rather than just have the ability to use the precalc option like my old version had. because of this, its not letting my 3rd party software send the invoices to quickbooks anymore. When I called the 3rd party software people, he said that some other people had that problem after the upgrade and the way they were told to solve it was delete the state tax item and then it would default to precalc. My question is will that effect invoices that used that state tax item in the past? I tried to just make it inactive but that didnt work. Please help!
