I am presenting a bid to enter a years worth of receipts into the Quicken program for three accounts. Personal, business and money market. Does anyone know how I would bid this job out? Please help.

I Need Help With The Pay Bill Window In Quickbooks?

I have old bills showing in my bills to pay window, that WERE paid, but not through quickbooks (for example, paid over the phone with a credit card without checking off the bills in the pay bills window). How can I clear these out?

Quicken Help: Designating Fund Transfers?

Hi,
How can I designate a transaction on my bank account as a transfer to/from my other bank accounts, without Quicken automatically duplicating that transaction on the other account?
Scenario:
Transfer $500 from Account A to Account B.
Account A shows -$500, Account B shows +$500. But I would like Quicken to recognize that these are not income or expenses, but merely transfers.
I tried labeling the -$500 in Account A as a “Transfer to Account B”. But Quicken automatically duplicates the record on Account B with a +$500 entry, in addition to the +$500 entry already in Account B.

What Software Should I Get That Will Help Me Learn More About Quickbooks?

I am working for my dad and he thinks that I dont know Quickbooks enough so he wants me to learn more…I dont mind because I will be paid more. I am using Pro 2008 and I need a software or something that will teach me more. Suggestions? Thanks!

Temporary Job Agencies Lure You In, But Then Don’t Even Help You…what Do They Gain?

I’ve signed with 5 different agencies, and I keep calling them for about 4 months now.. every week, they have yet to give me an assignment. Even when look on their job site and find a position I’m qualified for they brush me off. I have five years experience in clerical, administrative, customer service, and call center. But sure, at first they are like “We’re great come and join us…AND they even encourage me to join seeing my Resume. I have experience 4 years in Microsoft Office Suite; 4 years Quickbooks and 2 years Adobe Page maker 7.0. I can type 70 wpm. I’ve even taken their assessment tests and have done quite well on them.
Any advice?

Accounting Entries (quickbooks/others) For Purchases. Help!?

Looking for advice.
I bought several items ($2,000.00) intended for sale in a business where I am a member using my personal credit card. Some people say I can just ask for a reimbursement for this… or the company just issue a promissory note payable in the future. anyway, not sure what to do in the booking.
Help!… nobody in the business is into accounting and we cannot afford to hire one for now.

Recent Grad Looking For An Accounting Job, Help, Advice, Cover Letter?

Si I graduated college this May and haven’t had any luck finding a job. I know its my fault, I don’t have any previews accounting experience and most companies look for at least 1 yr. Only good about me is that i graduated college with honors and that is not helping a bit.
So now I’m thinking of sending a letter to every small accounting form around my area, which are several, and include my resume. Please let me know what you guys think?

Quickbooks Help & Advice +10 Pts To The Answer Who Can Solve The Problem?

I have a laptop that is loaded with spyware and trojan viruses. I dont even feel safe using quickbooks anymore. So i want to reformat my harddrive. Problem is, I lost my Quickbooks CD to setup. I want to save all my data from quickbooks but it wont work without the set up. What should i do? I DO NOT want to try and clear everything because it is really bad.

I run a not-for-profit IN CANADA, and have been required by one of our government funders to provide a financial report on a specific project that has been “reviewed by a professional accountant”. So first, what entails a ‘review’, and second what kind of accountant should i seek to provide it.
