i looked at quicken 2008 and it looks kind of confusing. is there another type of software that will connect to my bank account and download transactions and give me a graph of where my money is being spent and allow me to pay my bills from it, etc.

I know some banks require you to set up the download ability with them first.
I have Wells Fargo, and I had to get a login ID, password before MS Money would let me download transactions.
I want to put $250 into my already existing savings account and have it set aside for a specific purpose. I don’t really want to start a separate savings account just for this money.
How can I enter it into Quicken in my savings account and have Quicken show that the money is not available for general needs?
Alright, i’m running a little side business and I downloaded quickbooks free to keep everything straight. However, I gave them my bank account number and added an expense because I owe something out. They’ve deducted it from my bank account balance on quickbooks and i’m just curious as to if they could access my bank account and actually take the money out. thanks!

Don’t want to delete the account information, just want to start over with all transactions I have entered previously removed.
In quicken, investment accounts looks like you have to do 1 at a time – takes forever. Bank accounts you can highlight all at once and delete but not investment accounts?
In Money, I dont see any way to do all at once on any type of account.
I have Money 2008 and Quicken 2006

I have already received my financial aid award from the university I I’m attending in the fall. The problem is that my award with Federal grants, subsidized, and unsubsidized loans did not cover my cost of attendance. (also my parent plus loan got denied) How easy is it to go outside of their package and get a loan from some other bank such as wells fargo or something? Is wells fargo likely to give out student loans?
I was wonder because I’m new to college and I don’t know much about financial aid. I got like around 5000. My classes came around like 2000. What happen to the rest? Do i get to keep it and use it for school stuff or Do I have to use the rest to pay for my next semester?

Which do you use or like better: Quicken or Microsoft Money?
I have had Microsoft Money in the past but never Quicken. What version do you use and what do you like or dislike about it. I want to use a version that is for a home business and personal finances. Thanks! (Sorry, this is a re-post. I would like to have a few more opinions)
