How Much Programming Is Required For Financial Engineering?
I am currently a BS – math major and considering various grad programs. As far as financial engineering/mathematics, how much computer programming should I have as an undergrad? I have taken 2 semesters of Java and will take at least 1 additional course in “numerical methods in computing”. Should I try to do some self study with C++??? That seems to be the language of preference in this industry.

I got an $18000 scholarship from my college and they told me to inform them if i received any academic scholarships to lower my amount of money received in accordance with the financial package. How much money will they deduct? The whole amount? If so, it would be pointless to get scholarships to pay off the rest that is not covered from the financial package!
