Linux Information Needed.?

I love how Linux is free. I love how stable it is. I love how fast it runs. But, I gave up at Mandrake 9.0 becuase I couldn’t get my graphics card, modem, ethernet or dvd/rw to work.
What’s the best version of Linux for someone who just wants to use the operating system, the regular add-ons like the wicked PhotoShop-Like software, install QuickBooks (just about any version) and surf the internet.
Also – I need one which will accept my Lexmark X1185 printer.
Also – where can I download this wicked, near-perfect version of Linux which is free and doesn’t involve any scripting just to get the dang thing to do the simplest task?

Software Needed… Any Suggestions?

I need software which I can run on my computer and my Palm Zire 21 which will accomplish the following:
1. Keep track of customers.
2. Keep track of scheduling services for customers (who’s due, who wants to put off service for another month, etc)
3. Accounts payable.
4. Accounts receivable.
5. Who owes me money.
6. What I use in material, concentration and where the material was used at each customer’s house and then be able to total what I used at the end of the day.
7. Store nice facts, like borthdays and customers’ kids’ names.
Basicly I need Quicken, Quickbooks or Peachtree with a cheaper price and an old Palm interface for a b/w screen.
I know it’s asking a lot, but I need it on the cheap too. Any ideas?

Mac Bookkeeping Software Recommendations Needed.?

We started our own business last year and need some suggestions on software for bookkeeping and accounting.
I’ve been looking at MYOB, Quickbooks for Mac, NetSuite, First Edge, Sage’s web-based application but I’m not expereinced enough to know what I need
We are a multimedia production company and website developers who use Macs.
Here are some details:
Mac running OSX
1 employee
No inventory
Need to keep track of spending and taxes
Sales Tax
Invioces
Quotes
Anything to make tax time easier and quoting/biding jobs faster would be ideal.

What Hardware Is Needed To Connect 4 Monitors To One Pc?

The video needs to go to all 4 monitors at once so that you can view a different application in each monitor. (ie monitor 1 – internet explorer, monitor 2 – Microsoft word, Monitor 3 – Microsoft Excel, monitor 4 – Quickbooks)
I am guessing that it will require 2 video cards that each have two video outs.
Does anyone know of a good solution? Specific make / brand info would be most usefull.

Messed Up Really Bad Urgent Help Needed!! Quickbooks!!!?

Ok so I was doing a reconciliation and i accidently double hit enter, so it made an auto adjustment and finished the reconciliation, BUT I was not done with it… and i cant get back to it….. what do i do?!!!

Quickbooks Pro Needed, Please.?

Is there a way to download credit card statements straight to QB, alter them and save them? If so how? For now, we do credit card reconciliations in excel format and not in QB.

What Are The Most Needed Computer Applications/programs To Know?

Quite a few people were just laid off including myself with my company. I am trying to take some computer classes to widen my range of jobs I can apply for. What are the most popular? the most useful?
I already know the basics of Word but I am not advanced. I have alot of experience on basic computer systems. Most of my jobs have been office, administrative, hotel, real estate, customer service. I see courses for Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Access, and Powerpoint. Any suggestions which might open more opportunities?
