I am looking for Master’s of Accountancy programs that are designed for those who have an undergraduate degree in something other than accounting. What schools offer such a program? For your info, I majored in finance. I am looking for something similar to the program at UNC.

I know that Florida Atlantic offers a masters degree in Forensic Accounting, but I would like to know, what other schools offer this or a similar masters program? A list would be great, because so far all I’ve found are regular Accounting masters programs, with no specific concentration. Thanks!
Yesterday, when I inserted my flash drive into the usb port, I got this blue screen (not the blue screen of death) and my computer completely locked up. I just unplugged it until this morning.
This morning, it seemed to boot fine but then I got the blue screen again (w/o the flash drive even connected) and had to reboot. It did work up rebooting but my mcaffee was all screwed up and needed reinstalled which I did. Ran a scan and it found nothing. Also ran spybot and awaware and nothing there either.
Now I can’t even boot up programs like quickbooks or spysweeper and other ones like outlook are very slow.
My system restore will not work whether or not in safe mode. Neither does windows help. I get error messages when I try to access them.
Any help would be appreciated. I am using a Dell Dimension 2300 that has 1gb of ram, a 60GB hd that is 1/2 full, and running windows XP.

I want to take Accounting and get a degree but I am hoping to be on Vancouver Island and I will be residing in Saanichton.. Trying to figure out where I can take this course.. The closest school I have found is Cowichan Vancouver Island University. Anything will help

I only want to provide debt payoff, timely bill payment, and budget adherence information, in which the first matter is customized to the client. The latter two matters are simply universally applicable processes to follow. I would provide NO information on investing. I just feel that such a 1:1 consultation would help so many people get their finances in order–but of course I would need to have them sign a document that says what I provide them are only guidelines and not a sure-fire formula for success.
Or are they about equal in the level of difficulty in their curriculum? Also, someone told me there are better job opportunities in finance, and you dont have to work as hard…is this true?

I prefer excellent colleges with all three majors. If a (not as prevalent) major such as environmental science can’t be found, then something like environmental engineering or studies is okay.

Instead of a university, try your community education classes. They will often run courses on software packages that can be anywhere from one class to several weeks or months.
I am a student of the UC system and am disappointed that I am going to have to go broke in order to pay for my tuition.
I am planning on transferring to a different school/dropping out if my financial situation continues on like this.
I was wondering though if private schools still offer decent financial aid compared to this broken public UC system that I go to.
