Business Start Up Tax Record Keeping Questions?

Already paid for many things from my personal acct. Finally got the business checking acct. opened.
Shall I write myself checks on the business acct. to pay msyelf back for the items I paid for from the personal acct?
My reasoning: I want all income and expenses clearly accounted for from within the business acct. (and quicken).
Is this an acceptable practice?

Alright, i’m running a little side business and I downloaded quickbooks free to keep everything straight. However, I gave them my bank account number and added an expense because I owe something out. They’ve deducted it from my bank account balance on quickbooks and i’m just curious as to if they could access my bank account and actually take the money out. thanks!

I am ttc#1, and yesterday I was at walmart browsing through the baby books. I noticed that some books went as long as 5 years. I was just wondering if people actually kept up with those books. I was thinking that I want to record my pregnancy and first few weeks of life. I just don’t see myself recording until first day of school.

I’ve seen the pregnancy record book at babies r us and i really like them. It has cute pages with headings to write under like “cravings” “first felt you kick” and places to put ultrasound pics. I would like to find the equivalent of this online where i can send the link to my mom in an email or post it on my myspace page. i can not find a website that has this though. anyone know where i can find it?

I make wreaths and I need to keep track of all the silk flowers, dried flowers, forms etc that I need to work with. I’m not real good with the formulas for excel. All I need is to add the number received, subtract the number used which equals the number on hand. Quickbooks keeps tract of the actual cost and value of my assets for me.
