Can Anyone Suggest A Well Designed Windows Invoice Program For Small Business?

We currently use a very old DOS based program for our invoicing. In some ways it works ok but the reporting features and very lacking. We have not found anything so far on off the shelf software that seems to be well designed for our purposes. We have Quickbooks but I have never been impressed with using this in volume. Our current files are in dbf format. We sell products wholesale/a product based business. Appreciate any ideas or suggestions. We need something that we can go in enter a new customer and go directly punching out invoices. We dont need any estimating or quote features.

Can I Use Quickbooks Pro 2008 For Personal Cash Budget As Well?

I use QuickBooks Pro 2008 for my merchendise sales and I would like to use it as my personal use as well. Like if I have cash on me I can put that in and when I spend I put that in as well. Can I do that? And if I can, then how? Don’t tell me to read the book unless you have a sertain page I can read because that book is a big book and I can’t find anything.
