I am looking for Master’s of Accountancy programs that are designed for those who have an undergraduate degree in something other than accounting. What schools offer such a program? For your info, I majored in finance. I am looking for something similar to the program at UNC.

I am already familiar with the online offering from Intuit (Quicken and Quickbooks), but would like to know about other companies that offer something similar. It should be geared to small businesses.

'verified' . Accounting . Between . Difference . What
I have been asked fo a verified accounting of something and i am not sure what that entails.
I am working for my dad and he thinks that I dont know Quickbooks enough so he wants me to learn more…I dont mind because I will be paid more. I am using Pro 2008 and I need a software or something that will teach me more. Suggestions? Thanks!
I know that Florida Atlantic offers a masters degree in Forensic Accounting, but I would like to know, what other schools offer this or a similar masters program? A list would be great, because so far all I’ve found are regular Accounting masters programs, with no specific concentration. Thanks!
I have a small business that has been operating for a few years, but the accounting has been a nightmare partly because we never took the time to set it up right. We use Quickbooks Premiere to cut invoices, but that’s just it, we dont use it to its full potential. My question is, what accounting methods are some of you small business owners (or cpa’s) using? I am thinking of setting up a entirely new checking account just for monthly bills. Will this help with the confusion? I’m just tired of circulating money to buy more inventory and pay bills and not having the money go towards profits. If anyone can point me to the right direction or offer some advice, I would REALLY appreciate it.
I am going to be in college next year and am beginning to take a look at different laptops. I am pretty sure I am going to major in accounting and need help deciding what computer would be best. I really like the MacBook but I can’t due to compatibility issues (quickbooks, peachtree are not supported by mac, etc). For PC’s I really like the ThinkPads and Dell.
Any business/accounting majors have any advice? What laptop do you recommend for me? I’m looking in the $800-$1200 range and i would hope for at least 120gb and 2 gb ram. Thanks!!

I am going to be going to school for my AA for now. I am not sure if i should go for accounting or business admin. I currently am an admin. I want to make sure it is worth the time and money first. Any advice would help.
